Barcode Scanner Upgrade

You can add a barcode scanner to any Alan Bradley controlled Steeger braider to automatically select the desired recipe.

Zebra model ZEB-DS3678ER3RF50AS1 handheld bar code reader:

• The Zebra bar code readers are capable of reading 1D, 2D and 3D/QR bar code formats
• The bar code input will be used to select and load existing recipes stored in the PLCs based on recipe part numbers/names; example- Item#/Recipe name “50894-003”
• A screen will be added to the HMI for bar code reader status/control
• An error message will be displayed on the HMI if the part number read by the bar code reader cannot be found in PLC memory or if a read error occurred
